Cashews from the province of Kompong Thom, considered the best in the world, were intertwined with caramel, covered in chocolate and covered with cocoa powder.
The packaging was the winner of a design competition run by the Dream Girls Project, a project to support the independence of women in Cambodia. It is an artwork evoking the Angkorian period, which is said to have had a 'legendary king'.
Amazing Cambodia has organised the Dream Girls Design Contest every year since 2010 as an initiative to support Cambodian women's independence through design. From this stage, many women have now achieved their dreams. They include an active international artist, the founder and CEO of a design company and an art school teacher.
